Sam Ross Piraro In Los Gatos, CA October 29, 2008. Beloved husband of 60 years to Sally Piraro. Proud father of Sam Piraro (Baseball coach at San Jose State University) and Stuart Piraro (Baseball Coach at Lincoln High School). Proud father-in-law of JoAnn Piraro. Adoring grandfather of Jason and Jenna Piraro. Dear brother of Irene Butera and beloved brother-in-law of Josephine and Peter Kuziinich, Lucy Maggi and Anthony Ventimiglia. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Bryan , Texas aged 88 years. A veteran of WWII, a 43 year supervisor of Del Monte Cannery and an avid baseball fan. Vigil service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 6:00pm at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose. Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 10:00am at Holy Cross Church. Entombment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
