Shirley Marie Silveira

Shirley Marie Silveira Age 95, was born in San Francisco, CA and resided in Oakland most of her life. While there, she worked as a bookkeeper for 30 years at Vulcan Foundry. Shirley, who was the consummate 'Auntie Mame', came to San Jose in 1999 and lived with her nephew and his caring wife until her death on August 25, 2004. Shirley is survived by Dennis Lorenzini, her nephew, his wife, Jean; her great niece, Karen DeFrisco; and 4 great-great-nieces and nephews; McKenzie, Kayla, Tyler and Avery. A Rosary and Mass for Shirley will be said at St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Campbell, CA at 10 a.m. on August 31, 2004. In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to the Alzheimer's Activity Center. Funeral arrangements are by Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 900 S. Second St., San Jose, CA.
