Sontina Marie Armanino

Idolized sister of the late Alma Ferrari, and Sister in Law to the late Joseph Ferrari. Sontina attended schools in San Jose and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She spent her Career as a Sales Representative at Hart's Department Store, and later was employed by Bergman's Department Store in Willow Glen until she retired. Sontina loved her garden and home. Her flowers and vegetables along with her home were her pride and joy. When you passed by or went to visit her, she was always outside with her little straw hat watering or planting in her garden. Sontina is survived by many relatives and friends including a totally loving and dedicated caregiver of 5 years; Yolanda Genuino. Sontina was a native of San Jose, aged 92 years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Church, San Jose. Entombment will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Arrangements by Chapel of Flowers, San Jose.
