Theodore M. MarakJune 16, 1921 - Sept. 6, 2015Resident of San JoseTheodore (Ted) Marak, 94 passed away peacefully in San Jose. Born in New Haven, CT, son of Charles & Anna Marak, Graduated from West Haven High School (1939) he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps, stationed in Rawlings, WY & Fairfield, CT. He served in the U.S. Army map making division during WWII, worked for Murison Label Co. and International Paper Co. in CT and CA. He coached youth Little League through American Legion baseball teams and was a 50 year member of San Jose's Memory Post American Legion. He is survived by his sons Michael (Paula) of Guilford, CT Christopher (Laura) of Santa Cruz, CA, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and by his sister Marjorie Gagne (FL) and brother Robert (RI). Ted was predeceased by his wife Adele Ausukaitis Marak, grandson Ben Marak, and seven brothers and sisters. Private Family Service.
