Theresa Foiada

Theresa Foiada It is with great sadness that the Foiada family announces the passing of our beloved wife & mother, Theresa, on November 25, 2007 at the age of 94. Loving wife of 73 years to Adolph. Mother to Carol & Dale . Grandmother to Christie, Colleen, Jaclyn, Jeremy, & Nick. Sister to Peter Mozzone. Daughter of the late Joe & Carolina Mozzone. Sister to the late Lucille Brennan & Emma Mozzone. Theresa was born in Rodino (Piemonte), Italy on August 13, 1913. She came to California with her family in 1915 & settled in the Almaden Valley where her father & extended family worked as ranchers. Theresa attended Pioneer School in Almaden & later worked at Baron-Grey Cannery for many years. Theresa & Adolph were married in 1934 at Sacred Heart Church & together ran Valley Saw Works for over 50 years. Theresa enjoyed gardening, swimming, traveling, & socializing with family & friends. She belonged to the Piemonte Club, ProTicino Swiss Club, & the YMCA where she was an active member until one year ago. Family & friends are invited to attend a Rosary on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Chapel of Flowers, 900 South 2nd Street, San Jose, and a Memorial Mass on Friday, November 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Brother Albert Roman Catholic Church, 10250 Clayton Road, San Jose 95127.
