MARQUEZ, Tony-- Passed away in San Jose on May 1, 2002. Beloved father of Tony Marquez, Patricia Marquez, Nancy Marquez and his devoted wife Hope Marquez. Loving grandfather of Valentina Ramirez, Fred Rodriguez, Bella and Hannah Marquez. Also leaves behind loving brother Paul Marquez and deceased brother Robert Marquez. A master of his trade, Tony successfully worked and ran his roofing and construction business with his son Tony, Jr.He was a pillar of strength an a source of great love to all that knew him. Tony Marquez worked his entire life. His generosity, humor, principals, love of life and ability to accomplish anything he attempted was respected by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed.Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service, Monday at 8:15 p.m. at the CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. Second St., San Jose. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the above chapel. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
