She is preceded in death by son Cardell, sister and brother Merver Fitch and John Williams, Jr. Velma is survived by her husband Isiah, children Tom (Alice), Donald, Everett, Yvonne, Brenda (Ronald), David and Janice, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and sister, Alma Whitworth. Funeral services are Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Cathedral of Faith Church, 2315 Canoas Garden Ave, SJ. Internment following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
