Wellington Gray Mcconnell

Wellington Gray McConnell Aged 81 of Los Banos, California, died April 24, 2004 at his home. Mr. McConnell was a long-time resident of San Jose. He moved to Los Banos six years ago. He was in the moving & storage business for many years. Mr. McConnell graduated from San Jose State University, lettering in three sports while a student. He was also a veteran of WWII and an avid golfer most of his life. Survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of Los Banos; children, Gayle McConnell & Sally Thomas, both of Santa Cruz and the late Jeffery McConnell & stepsons John Colendich of San Jose & James Colendich of Santa Cruz. He also leaves two sisters and six adoring grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 S. 2nd St., San Jose. In lieu of flowers donations to the Los Banos Humane Society, Los Banos, CA 93635 would be appreciated.
